AGB Training Licensing Centre to remain open

Due to recent events in the Geelong area with Journey Management closing its doors on the 13th July, AGB Training has decided to continue operations at the Belmont Transport and Logistics Training Centre.

AGB Training, a private RTO, has been providing Licensing Training courses, including Forklift and Light to Multi Combination truck licensing, since March 2010

CEO Robert Dejanovic said “with Journey Management closing its doors, it leaves a big hole in Geelong. The board and I have decided that we did not want to leave the Geelong community without a Heavy Vehicle Driving school, as this meant that there was going to be no access to the Greater Geelong community and people would need to travel long distances to access the service, therefore as at 9am this morning, we have made a decision to remain open.”

AGB Training will continue to deliver licensing training from Belmont Transport and Logistics Training Centre in Curtis Street Belmont, providing much needed skills development within the region.

AGB Training realises that there are a large number of people within Geelong and surrounding areas that are requiring licensing training and would otherwise need travel large distance to the nearest provider.

AGB Training will continue to work with Vic Roads to ensure that the region is supported.
