International students can gain a Nationally Recognised Qualification with AGB Training

Have you just moved to Geelong from another country?  Are you looking to start your education in Australia?

AGB Training (AGB) offers a range of courses for International Students at their Geelong Training Centre.

The areas of study that are available to international students include Automotive, Business, Civil and Hydraulic Design, Community Services, Spoken and Written English, Transport and Logistics and Training and Assessment.

International Students who study with AGB will receive much more than a Nationally Recognised Qualification. They will receive the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in the Australian workforce.

AGB offers caring and supportive staff to help make the transition to studying in Australia as smooth and comfortable for international students as possible.

AGB’s Account Manager, Melissa explains the great services that AGB Training has available for their International Students.

“We have a student Welfare officer who is a qualified counsellor, our classes are mixed with both international and domestic students to enhance cultural exchange and friendships, we assists with housing in the Geelong area so our international students can rent or find a share house or homestay and our training centre features a student kitchen and breakout area with access to free Wi-Fi,” she says.

“We currently have 6 International Students studying with us, and have another 5 enrolled for 2016 which is exciting.” Melissa adds.

One of AGB Training’s International students from Poland, Anna, has been studying a Diploma in Community Services and says she would recommend AGB Training to other international students who are looking to study in Geelong or Melbourne.

“I would like to recommend my school because all of the staff here are very friendly, supportive and helpful,

“I have found that in this school the classes are not too big and the teachers are very well prepared and open to answer questions and explain everything patiently.” Anna explains.

Anna also says that it is important to her that her trainer is industry qualified.

“What is very important, in my opinion, is that the trainers work in the field so their knowledge is not only theoretical, but practical as well.” she said.
